The land of barolo, barbaresco, truffles, hazelnuts - the list goes on and on! Piemonte is rich in every aspect when it comes to food, wine and culture. The region is situated on the border of France and Liguria where French influences come out in the cuisine. You will also see anchovies and capers which were trekked through the mountains from Liguria, located right on the Mediterranean coast. The cuisine and wine really shine during the autumn months during which most of the region’s indigenous ingredients come to maturation such as porcini, truffles, chestnuts, hazelnuts, persimmons etc. Chef Michaud is super excited to share some of his favorite Piemontese treasures!
