Benvenuto to the Veneto! This region is home to Romeo and Juliet - you can actually tour the house to see the balcony where Juliet stood when Romeo professed his love to her. It is also home to a floating city called Venezia. In this class we will focus on the bounties of fish that come from the Adriatic sea. Some of my favorite memories are going to the fish market in the morning and seeing what the fisherman brought back in from their morning journey. We pick out the most perfect fish to do a fritto misto for dinner. Venezia is a magical place and I can’t wait for you to taste the Adriatic!

In this class, you will learn how to make the following:

  • Venetian Fish Fritto Misto (anchovy, baccala, shrimp)

  • Bigoli, razor clams, garlic & parsley bread crumbs

  • Braised octopus, olives, peperoncino & white polenta

  • Vanilla Crema fritta, lemon & cherries
