Since opening in 2007 Osteria has become one of the country’s most critically acclaimed Italian restaurants, earning Chef Jeff Michaud the 2010 James Beard Foundation Award for “Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic” for his work helming the kitchen.

Michaud's classic take on Italian cuisine presented the perfect addition to Schulson Collective with Osteria's award-winning menu of antipasti, homemade pastas, house-cured salumi, authentic Neapolitan and Roman-style pizzas, wood-grilled meats, seafood and decadent desserts.

Signature dishes include Chicken Liver Rigatoni with cipollini onions and sage; the Lombarda Pizze with baked egg, bitto cheese, mozzarella and cotechino sausage; and the House-Aged Rib-eye “Fiorentina” for two. Complementing this menu is a fine selection of wine, handcrafted cocktails and craft beer.

Classically designed to have a warm, evocative aesthetic in an industrial setting, Osteria’s spacious dining room, glass-enclosed patio and private dining rooms—including a chef’s table—make it the perfect place for occasions of all scopes and sizes, whether it’s a quiet night out with friends and family, or a boisterous celebration with dozens of guests.

PRIVATE DINING

 
 

THE GLASS ENCLOSED PATIO

The glass-enclosed Patio at Osteria boasts a view of our garden and the beautiful stained glass windows of the church next door. The room can accompany up to sixty people comfortably.

As with our other private dining services, groups eat family style and arrange the menu in advance of the date. Our family
style approach allows guests more variety with each course and encourages interaction through sharing. We can customize the dinner by adding passed or stationary stuzzichini (appetizers) an intermezzo course or an assortment of house made biscotti after dessert. Our Pastry Chef can also make special occasion cakes upon request. Dietary restrictions are no issue.

THE KITCHEN TABLE

Experience Dining with the intimacy of your family and friends in a truly memorable setting at Osteria’s private kitchen table. The Kitchen Table seats a minimum of eight people and a maximum of fourteen. Groups are served family style and the menu arranged in advance of the date. The family style approach allows guests more variety with each course and encourages interaction through sharing. Special dietary needs can be satisfied.

THE WINE ROOM

The Wine Room, named for its view into Osteria’s wine cellar, seats up to thirty people. As with our other private dining services, groups eat family style and arrange the menu in advance of the date.
